hi!

I’m Mick, as in knits by mick, also known as @miclava (my first, middle, last name blended together!), or Michelle.

I am new to the loom knitting world and have found knitting as a great way to limit the time spent starting at my phone and iPad (or watching nonsense tv)! once I got the hang of it I tried new items (like my bottle sleeves) and working on building an inventory of hats, bottle sleeves, pot holders, and some fun new items.

my shop can be found on my website (miclava.com) and items can be sorted by made to order or by current inventory. any item listed can be made in a variety of sizes or patterns; so if you don’t see what you’re looking for just ask!

my wife and I live in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, and have two snuggly ad crazy rescues, @tootsieandpatsy. I have a full time job so knitting is a hobby and side gig for me. we have a camper and enjoy long weekend trips to quiet and serene camping spots, preferably with a lake view!
